All Kompan equipment is designed to challenge and stimulate children and create a play area that children want to return to again and again.
A key consideration for Kompan is accessibility and inclusive play for all children. Kompan believe that all children should play toghether irrespective of their abilities. Instead of designing play equipment for children with disabilities, Kompan have designed a variety of inclusive play items that cater for all children.
Kompan have created a special learning centre, the Play Institute, which is dedicated to children’s play, development and learning. Kompan have developed a network of play professionals throughout the world who research and monitor how trends in children’s physical condition are related to opportunities for play. This research is then used by Kompan when they are designing their play equipment.
